An evidence-graded, bilingual (English and Marathi) digital museum of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj (1630–1680), where every claim carries one of four evidence seals.

The Shivrai Museum home page: the title छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज above "Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj · 1630–1680", "Explore the timeline" and "Play the story" buttons, the four evidence seals (Documented, Scholarly interpretation, Traditional account, Disputed), and a framed Golconda-style portrait of Shivaji Maharaj. Below are cards for the four eras: Foundation, Defiance, Resurgence and Sovereignty.

How it was made

  1. Step 1: Editorial rules

Set the editorial rules: accuracy first, neutral museum voice, four evidence grades.

  2. Step 2: The collection as data

Wrote the collection as structured data: 32 events, a 21-chapter biography, 30 forts, 29 people, 12 myths, 11 primary sources.

  3. Step 3: A static site

Built a dependency-free static site with hand-drawn SVG maps, Story Mode, text-to-speech, and offline support.

  4. Step 4: Translation

Translated every string through translator and adversarial reviewer agents.

  5. Step 5: Browser checks

Verified each change in the browser at desktop and phone widths, in both languages.

Perseverance

NASA’s Mars 2020 rover

  • It landed on 18 February 2021 on the floor of Jezero Crater, at a spot now called Octavia E. Butler Landing. That is where this base is set.
  • Jezero is where an ancient river met a lake and left a delta. Perseverance searches it for signs of ancient microbial life.
  • It carries seven science instruments and 23 cameras, more cameras than any interplanetary mission before it.

Ingenuity

NASA’s Mars helicopter

  • It rode to Mars strapped beneath Perseverance, and on 19 April 2021 it made the first powered flight on another planet.
  • Built for up to five test flights in 30 days, it flew 72 times over nearly three years: 128.8 minutes in the air, 17 km covered, and as high as 24 m.
  • It weighs 1.8 kg, and its rotors are 1.2 m across.
  • Its last flight was on 18 January 2024. Its rotor blades were damaged on landing, and that ended the mission.
